Specialization Areas: Personal Lines Insurance
A seasoned insurance broker with 28 years of experience, Trish has held a vast range of roles and responsibilities over the course of her career in the industry. Her knowledge in the insurance industry gives her a unique perspective. Initially obtaining her RIBO License in 1993, Trish has continued to build on her education throughout the years. In 2007, she received her CAIB Designation and Unrestricted RIBO Management License. Completing a Digital Marketing Certificate with the Canadian Marketing Association in 2017, and recently obtaining her CIP Designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada, Trish is always learning and developing her skills.
Joining the Gifford Carr family in 2019 as Branch Manager, Trish oversees the team at the Ottawa East office. Trish leads by example as she mentors up and coming brokers and emerging leaders. She is technically inclined with both insurance coverage and insurance systems. Providing vital insight to our Executive Leadership, Trish has been an integral member of the team working on Gifford Carr’s conversion to a new broker management system which launched in 2021.
Outside of work, Trish enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, hiking, golfing, gardening, and geocaching. You’ll find her soaking up the sun every chance she gets!
