          Included in our Condo Program. In broad terms, this coverage protects your buildings and common elements contents not otherwise covered by the residents personal insurance coverage.

          Insured perils (ie risks or threats) include: fire, lightening, smoke, windstorm, water damage sewer back up, flood, riot, earthquake, strike and vandalism. Property extensions are also available, discuss the right coverage limit with your broker to ensure your condo building is properly protected.

          Directors and Officers Liability

          Equipment and Machinery Breakdown

          Sometimes referred to as Boiler and Machinery insurance.

          Included in our Condo Program. This coverage protects you condo building from sudden, accidental damage to your electrical, mechanical and other building equipment that commercial insurance normally doesn’t. It can include coverage for things like your building alarm panels, security and intercom systems and elevators.

          Protection against theft, just in case.

          This optional add on coverage protects the Condo Corporation’s liquid assets against theft by employees, council/board members and the property manager. The policy limit is intended to protect your operating expenses and reserve fund.

          Cyber Liability

          Condo corporations and property managers are relying more and more on electronic record keeping and data storage. Online communities and social media tools are also emerging. Adding cyber liability maybe an added coverage your condo building will want to consider. This coverage is available to be added on to condo building policies in our program.

          An optional coverage add on to the condo plan to protect against riots, strikes, civil commotion, malicious activity and direct terrorist activity.

          Third Party Extension

          An optional extension of coverage for your condo building.

          In Canada, third-party insurance coverage ultimately aims to protect you if you’re involved in an accident where you may be at fault or liable to pay for property damages, third-party injury, or even death – it is similar coverage with this option for condo buildings. This coverage is available to be added on to condo building policies in our program.

          Volunteer Accident

          Volunteer Accident

          If volunteers take an active role in your condo building, you can add protection for them.

          An optional add on to our condo program, volunteer accident coverage which provides protection for council members, unit owners and/or residents who are injured while volunteering for the building/condo corporation.

          This coverage protects the condo building beyond the negligence covered in Commercial General Liability (CGL). This coverage can be added to protect should an accident occurs and the condo is not found to be negligent, this coverage would kick in to fill the gap where CGL would not compensate an injured volunteer while he/she is helping out.
