May long weekend is typically the (unofficial) official kick-off to summer in Ontario, but the storm that blew through Ontario really took the wind out of our plans, delaying the start of summer activities. Though the clean-up continues, I am proud of our team of brokers for continuing to work through the claims process for those who needed them and for providing that advisory role. To see our community come together when it needed the support was truly impressive, from our neighbours and from the teamwork witnessed throughout our offices.
In-person events are back with a vengeance, and our team looks forward to connecting with the local communities in the areas we serve across Ontario. Some of the recent events are profiled in the summer edition of our newsletter, including our outstanding service celebration where we celebrated some huge service milestones for our team. Which included one at TWENTY years! We know the individuals on our team is what sets us apart and we could not have been any prouder than to celebrate their loyalty and dedication to #teamGC. Talking about events, a face you will start to see more and more of representing Gifford Carr is our new Head of Business Development – Andrew Emmans. We are thrilled to welcome his experience and leadership to our sales team!
