It’s official: we have entered the final quarter of 2023. I am continually proud of our team, who are actively involved in the local community, providing resources and support to business owners, charities, and education to our valued clients this past quarter. We take great care in
ensuring our clients are adequately protected and actively contributing to the well-being of the communities we serve. We are proud to be your local broker.
The last several months have been busy in an ever-shifting market. Rest assured that our team is working hard behind the scenes on your behalf, navigating the market. We are also excited to announce a few major projects to you, which we believe will enhance our value as a member of your team.
I am pleased to welcome Rick Chase to Gifford Carr. Rick is leading our newly formed Benefits and Planning division, as we set out to be your one-stop advisor for all forms of Insurance. You will see more information in our newsletter in early 2024, but if you have any questions or would like to learn more about your options and our offerings, please connect with Rick directly.
Additionally, we have officially acquired WW Dopson Insurance in Sudbury, further cementing ourselves as the largest independent brokerage in Sudbury and one of the largest brokers in Ontario. The opportunity to scale in the North was something we could not overlook, and we appreciate the trust and responsibility placed in us to deliver on our promises. Finally, we continue to grow and have welcomed seven new team members across the province to enhance our client services. We are counting the days until our newly renovated head office in Ottawa is ready. I know our new team members are looking forward to connecting with you, and please feel free to stop in and say hello.
