Resorts of Ontario collaborates with Gifford Carr to talk insurance leading up to the 2023 summer season
Author: Gifford Carr Insurance Group
We are pleased to be a new preferred supplier and member of the Resorts of Ontario community. After attending the 2023 conference at Casionrama in April we got to work on how we can provide a resource and value to the resort community across the province. Hearing the pain points and understanding the challenges of coverage for properties, we knew opening the conversation was the place to start.
Our mission was to provide the Ontario Resorts community with some valuable insights as we prepare for the upcoming summer season and answer some burning insurance questions keeping you up at night. This fireside chat with industry and insurance experts covered the hot topics when it comes to risk management and coverage for your resort property, including;
- Understanding rates and risks
- Common liability questions
- Availability of coverage
- Renewal dates and timelines
- How do you know what coverage you need (or don’t)
- And yes, we even talked about price (!)
With insurance being one of the major concerns, and a high budget line item, confronting all resort operators and operations, as you prepare to open for the coming 2023 season this conversation may help provide some clarity, resources, and insights to help you navigate your renewal. And as always, if you have follow-up questions, our brokers are happy to chat.
