Winter 2022 | Message From The President
We've seen change as a constant this year. And the pace of change was swift, I cannot believe we are already well into the swing of the holiday season. We saw another shift in how we work as many office spaces reopened and welcomed their teammates to return, at least to a hybrid of remote and in-office work. As I reflect on the past year, there was a lot of change, both for me personally and for Gifford Carr. We made big decisions and even bigger moves to best set our team, clients, and our business here at Gifford Carr up for success.

Matthew and Marissa Carr joined local leaders to form team SENSations at 24h Tremblant raising funds, and skiing around the clock, raising over 5 million dollars in support of CHEO, le Fondation Charles-Bruneau, and Fondation Tremblant. The ultimate goal? Children's well-being.

On World Cancer Day, February 05, we announced the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation (ORCF) was our charity of choice for 2022. We are proud to share that on September 22, 2022, we presented Michael Maidment, CEO of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, and his team with a $28,328 donation supporting the local community cancer hub and game-changing research being done here - in our hometown. Thank you to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation for all you do to help beat cancer alongside our team, past and present, who have and are currently fighting cancer.
